By using EczemaClues (the "App") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
EczemaClues is a journaling and pattern-spotting tool. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, and does not provide medical advice. Patterns and "clues" it shows are statistical correlations in the data you logged — they can be wrong, coincidental, or incomplete. Always consult a qualified clinician before making health decisions (including diet changes such as eliminating foods) for yourself or your child. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something the App displayed.
The App stores your journal locally on your device and in backups you choose to create (see our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for keeping backups and for safeguarding your cloud sync code. Lost sync codes cannot be recovered by us, and we cannot recover data that was only on a lost or cleared device.
You may use the App for personal, non-commercial health journaling. You agree not to misuse the backup service (e.g., storing unrelated content, attempting to access others' backups, or disrupting the service).
EczemaClues is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or availability. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the App or the optional backup service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to give notice before discontinuing the backup service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EczemaClues and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App. Your sole and exclusive remedy is to stop using the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App (currently zero — the App is free).
We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above will change. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. EczemaClues is currently free to use; if paid features are ever introduced, they will be clearly marked and entirely optional.
